I’m intending to play all of them ahaha
at the very least I’d like to start at the beginning at least plot wise because i’ll be honest I have VERY little idea what it’s actually about besides
y’know
duels with animals that come out of balls
also when there are two different versions what is the best one to play?!
buT GOSH OK THANK FOR UR APPROVAL SEnPAI
GOOD GOOD oMGgGGG
yeah uhhh i’d recommend starting with FireRed, then!! and then go through the generations from there
Generation 3 is a bit weird because Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald were released before FireRed and LeafGreen, but the former generation is chronologically the third so„,expect the graphics to kinda shift weirdly if that makes sense (like the graphics will be okay in FireRed, then suddenly get really good in HeartGold and SoulSilver, and then degrade in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, and then get good again by Diamond/Pearl/Platinum skdjfkd)
as for which versions you should pick, it usually just depends on personal preference?? each generational game’s plotline is basically the same, but the different versions will contain different Pokemon (in Black and White for example, if you play Black version, N uses Zekrom, but if you play White version he uses Reshiram, and different Pokemon appear in the wild and yeah)
so yeah usually you can just pick which game you like the mascot Pokemon of more haha„ for games that come in threes though, it’s usually best to pick the third one!! (sooooooo i’d recommend picking Platinum if you want to play Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, and Emerald if you wanna play Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald— for the others, it doesn’t really matter)
THIS IS pRobABLY COnfuSInG i’M SORRY i’m excited
